Do you think you would play 3-D Tetras any better now than before our last math unit?

Today you may do one of two problems. You may continue to solve the triangle problem, or you may become an expert at solving it by studying and learning how to explain the solution here. You may absolutely work WITH someone, and you must turn in your work at the end of class to be graded. You and I will be basing your grade on three things:

Did you use appropriate geometric thinking (5 points) and did you get the right answer (yes or no--no points)?

Is your paper set up in a way someone else can understand what you did (5 points)?

Did you explain your solution well (10 points)?

Today we will work on solving a triangle problem. Please go to The World's Hardest Easy Geometry Problem and begin to solve the problem.

MONDAY will be game day.

Mr. K will be here to continue teaching our 3-D helpers.
Some of you need to finish your fabricating.
The rest of us will be in the lab.

If we finish the lit work, we will move to these two math activities:

Monday, February 27, 2012Today we'll be in the lab.

First, we'll look at something you can do with similar triangles, then you may work on these challenges.
